Who we are
NIPARTSYSTEMS SIA (reg. no. 40203774227, Tomsona iela 21–19, Rīga, LV-1013) is the controller. Contact: rihards.niparts@nipartsystems.com.
Hosting
Our host, Vercel Inc., receives your IP address, the location worked out from it, your browser type, system details and the page you request. The request logs we can see are kept for 1 day. Basis: our legitimate interest in delivering and securing the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Vercel also uses request data for its own security and service purposes under its privacy notice (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy), and Vercel decides how long it keeps that data.
Analytics, only if you accept
If you click “Accept”, we use PostHog (EU Cloud, Frankfurt) to count visits and see which pages are used. We do not keep IP addresses in analytics data. Basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and Section 7¹ of the Latvian Information Society Services Law). If you click “Reject”, nothing is sent to PostHog. You can change your choice at any time with “Privacy settings” in the footer. Your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage for 12 months, after which we ask again; it is not sent to us or to PostHog.
Emails
If you email us, we use your message and address to reply, on the basis of our legitimate interest, and keep them as long as the conversation needs. Our email provider is Google Workspace.
Booking a call
If you book a call using our Cal.com page, you enter your name, email address and any notes on Cal.com. We use these details to arrange the call you requested (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). The call uses Google Meet, and the booking details reach our Google Workspace calendar and email.
Recipients and transfers
Vercel Inc. and PostHog, Inc. process data for us under data processing agreements. Both are US companies that state they take part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and their agreements include EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Cal.com, Inc. processes booking data for us under its data processing agreement and is a separate controller for its own purposes. Cal.com says it processes data in the United States, relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers, and uses the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses where the framework does not cover a transfer.
Retention
Request logs we can see at our host: 1 day. Vercel's own request data: as Vercel decides under its privacy notice. Analytics data: at least 1 year. PostHog sets this period for our plan and may delete the data after it, so there is no fixed deletion date. Your consent choice: 12 months, in your browser. Emails: as long as the conversation needs. Cal.com booking data: while our account is active. After an account closes, Cal.com allows at least 30 days for export and then normally deletes the data within 90 days, except data it must keep by law.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to Datu valsts inspekcija, Elijas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1050, www.dvi.gov.lv.
